On those hot summer days, take a cool dip in the lake. Unwind by floating around the lake. The dock at the lake is equipped with a ladder making it easy to get into and out of the water.

Bring your fishing pole and try your luck catching the “big one” from the dock. The lake is stocked with large mouth bass, catfish, crappie and sunfish. If fishing our lake is not enough of a challenge, bring your boat and fish the many lakes in the area such as the 740 acre Sandy River Reservoir, and the 845 acre Briery Creek Reservoir.

Although outside boats are not permitted on the lake, a Jon Boat is available for your use in fishing or exploring the lake.

There are areas on the property where you can pitch a tent and experience the outdoors while having the comforts of home just a stones throw away.
Perhaps you would like to have a bon fire and cook hot dogs or roast marshmallows. Mmmm Smores! Sing songs or tell ghost stories around a roaring fire while enjoying an abundantly star filled sky that is undisturbed by light pollution.
